Search Coaching is a uniquely tailored service to meet your Board’s needs when you are looking for top leadership (CEO or Executive Director roles). It is most often provided to Boards of Trustees that have the capacity to internally conduct a search, yet desire some targeted counsel and outside expertise. It may include some of the items from Search Assistance (writing job description, screening resumes, reference/background checking) and also “general counsel” to the Board in the search process. A guarantee is not offered with Search Coaching.
Organizations that will most benefit from Search Coaching generally have a very engaged Board, able to dedicate 5 – 10 hours per week toward the search process as well as strong administrative staff to handle details of communication, scheduling, record keeping, etc.
